Human Leukemia
The leukemic cell has a normal blood cell counterpart.
The exact reason why the normal blood cell differentation is blocked and becomes an leukemic cell is since Virchow, 150 years ago, unknown.
Multiple factors are involved in the etiology of leukemia and cancer.
Exchange and coordination between clinicians, immunologists, molecular biologists, genetists and virologists will help a better understanding of the biology of leukemia translated into improved methods of treatment.
For this we joined IACRLRD, Leukemia-Net, Acute-Leukemia, Wilsede and started the Portal www.humanleukemia.com to help in leukemia diagnosis and therapy worldwide.
To keep this idea alive we need the academic help of our scientific friends arround the world and personal support of all willing to help leukemia patients.
