The European LeukemiaNet is an EU-funded organisation of physicians, scientists and patients with interest in leukemia. It aims to improve the treatment and knowledge about Leukemia in Europe and spread excellence. The website delivers information for physicians, patients (e.g. patient organisations in Europe), ongoing clinical trials and further information about the disease. You can get information about the European LeukemiaNet in various european languages. The European LeukemiaNet is funded by the 6th Framework Program of the European Community.

ELN Foundation

The ELN Foundation is a non-profit charitable organisation, which supports the goals of the European LeukemiaNet to foster science and research and to improve and enhance medical care in acute and chronic leukaemia and related disease entities.

EUTOS – eCRF – Paper version

The EUTOS for CML Registry will collect baseline, treatment and outcome data on patients with CML in Europe by implementing and enlarging the current European CML Registry. The Online access to the EUTOS – eCRF – System and the CRF paper version are available at the EUTOS website.

Event on Life Quality

ELIC organized a very viable, intersectional meeting, addressing all workpackages and nations. More than 100 attendees discussed ongoing projects. The meeting gave a background on activities in the field of quality of life and also late effects and has given a frame for new collaboration in the ELN.

European Clinical Trials Directive

The “Road Map Initiative” is a collaboration of research organisations including the European Leukemia Net which has the aim to contribute to a modification of the European Clinical Trials Directive. It is very important to particularly strengthen the position of investigator-initiated trials in this group. Several workshops on different relevant topics took place so far.

The European Leukemia Net

175 Participating Centers in 33 Countries (1000 Researchers and Associates) are cooperating in the European Leukemia Net. The objective is to integrate the 105 leading leukemia trial groups ( CML, AML, ALL, CLL, MDS, CMPD), their 105 interdisciplinary partners (diagnostics, treatment research, registry, guidelines), industry and SMEs across Europe to form a cooperative network for advancements in leukemia related research and health care (data updated February 2010).
