The European LeukemiaNet is an EU-funded organisation of physicians, scientists and patients with interest in leukemia. It aims to improve the treatment and knowledge about Leukemia in Europe and spread excellence. The website delivers information for physicians, patients (e.g. patient organisations in Europe), ongoing clinical trials and further information about the disease. 161 Participating Centers in 32 Countries (900 Researchers and Associates) are cooperating in the European Leukemia Net. Therein 584 associated scientists from 22 countries are cooperating in the European Leukemia Network. The objective is to integrate the 104 leading leukemia trial groups ( CML, AML, ALL, CLL, MDS, CMPD), their 104 interdisciplinary partners (diagnostics, treatment research, registry, guidelines), industry and SMEs across Europe to form a cooperative network for advancements in leukemia related research and health care (data updated end 2008).
