The European LeukemiaNet is an EU-funded organisation of physicians, scientists and patients with interest in leukemia. It aims to improve the treatment and knowledge about Leukemia in Europe and spread excellence. The website delivers information for physicians, patients (e.g. patient organisations in Europe), ongoing clinical trials and further information about the disease. You can get information about the European LeukemiaNet in various european languages. The European LeukemiaNet is funded by the 6th Framework Program of the European Community.

ELN Frontiers Meeting 2011: Abstracts available online

ELN Frontiers is an annual educational program of the EUTOS (European Treatment and Outcome Study for CML) project, a collaboration between the European LeukemiaNet and Novartis Oncology Europe. Abstracts of the meeting in Berlin are available online now.

First results of impact assessment of CT-Directive

The CT-directive 2001/20/EC (directive on clinical trials) could be adopted around 10/2011. The process is leaded by DG Sanco at the EC and described in the Roadmap (“action plan”). One element of the action plan has been the process of the public consultation of the paper "Assessment of the functioning of the 'Clinical Trials Directive' 2001/20/EC". The ELN has been one of about 100 contributors to this paper.

ELN Foundation

The ELN Foundation is a non-profit charitable organisation, which supports the goals of the European LeukemiaNet to foster science and research and to improve and enhance medical care in acute and chronic leukaemia and related disease entities.

EUTOS – eCRF – Paper version

The EUTOS for CML Registry will collect baseline, treatment and outcome data on patients with CML in Europe by implementing and enlarging the current European CML Registry. The Online access to the EUTOS – eCRF – System and the CRF paper version are available at the EUTOS website.

The European Leukemia Net

182 Participating Centers in 34 Countries (1000 Researchers and Associates) are cooperating in the European Leukemia Net. The objective is to integrate the 108 leading leukemia trial groups (CML, AML, ALL, CLL, MDS, CMPD), their 105 interdisciplinary partners (diagnostics, treatment research, registry, guidelines), industry and SMEs across Europe to form a cooperative network for advancements in leukemia related research and health care (data updated February 2011).
